Q. I am already registered as either a buyer or a wholesaler on the SimplyWholesale site, do I have to register again to become an affiliate? |

A. Yes you will need to register separately as an affiliate. Although it is technically possible to use your main buyer/wholesaler member information for your affiliate account, you run the risk of losing valuable commissions if you should ever cancel your paid membership. This is obviously unfair and therefore it is better all round for all affiliates to have a dedicated affiliate account. You can sign up as an affiliate for free using the links on this page.

Q. How much can I earn as a SimplyWholesale affiliate? |

A. We pay 50% of any membership subscription payment that we receive as a result of you referring a new member to this site. This includes both buyer members and wholesaler members. The cost of membership ranges from £4.99 for a monthly buyer membership to £125.00 for an annual wholesaler membership, which means your individual earnings per sale will range from £2.50 to £62.50! (On average, 40% of new members opt for an annual membership). Not only that but we pay you commission on recurring payments as well which means that if a new member signs up for a monthly membership, you get paid for every month that they remain a member of the site!

Q. Does it cost me anything to become an affiliate? |

A. Absolutely not! You can become an affiliate for SimplyWholesale completely free of charge - you don't even need to be a paying member of the site (although we recommend that you do join as it is far easier to recommend a service that you use yourself).

Q. How do I promote the SimplyWholesale site? |

A. There is a variety of ways in which you can promote the SimplyWholesale site. If you have your own website, you could place one of our graphics/banners on it and send your visitors to us. If you have an email newsletter you could write a review/recommendation of our site and send it to your subscribers. Even if you don't have a website, you can still participate in the affiliate program - you could advertise your link on your eBay 'About Me' page or on your favourite forums in your signature link (where this is allowed of course!). You could even use pay per click advertising such as Google Adwords to promote your affiliate link. We will provide you with a full selection of banners and graphics which you can use to promote our site and we will even give you your very own personalised wholesale guide eBook which you can use as a 'giveaway' for your visitors/subscribers - each copy will contain your unique affiliate link! A. Affiliates are able to login to the site and view their traffic/sales stats at any time. You will find the affiliate login box in the left-hand menu on every page of the site.

Q. How can I be sure that all of my referrals are being tracked?

A. Our affiliate tracking software uses both cookies and IP tracking to monitor referred visitors. In addition, we have both a
Standard and a Compact P3P Policy which ensures that visitors' browsers will not block your cookies if their security settings are set to
'Medium' or 'High'. This is vital to ensure that you do not miss out on commission payments purely because of your
referral's browser settings.

Q. When and how do I get paid? |

A. We pay affiliate commissions within 15 days of each month end. For example, if you earn an affiliate commission at any time between Jan 1st and Jan 31st, you will receive your payment by Feb 15th. All affiliate payments are made via Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, you can open one completely free of charge at http://www.paypal.com.

Q. Do the visitors I send to your site have to buy on their first visit for me to receive my commission? |

A. No. We track visitors for an entire year which means that you will receive your commission even if your referral doesn't make a purchase until 12 months later!

Q. Can I buy through my own affiliate link? |
| |
A. No. The affiliate program is in place to reward affiliates for referring new business to the SimplyWholesale site. It is not intended as a means for anyone to obtain a discount on our normal subscription prices. All sign-ups are checked and anyone found trying to falsify their commission in this or any other way will have their affiliate account closed and any earned commissions will be retained by SimplyWholesale.

Q. Is there anything I shouldn't do as an affiliate? |
| |
A. Obviously you shouldn't try to falsify/manipulate your affiliate earnings in any way as discussed above. Equally you should not use any illegal or unethical methods to promote your affiliate link (such as sending spam emails or spamming forums etc). If any such behaviour is brought to the attention of SimplyWholesale, the affiliate in question will have their affiliate account closed and will forfeit all affiliate commission previously earned.
